A townhouse project fronting the Peticodiac River sets a new standard for multifamily dwellings in Moncton.
Unlike other current projects in Moncton, each suite has its own entrances and all our ground oriented, allowing children to play outside while in close proximity to home.
On a rural lot just west of the bridge to Mission, my client envisioned a small house for a mechanic and his family. The house is1600 s.f. but comfortably meets the needs of a family of four
Initially the carport was parallel to the house in a more traditional flying V. But a conflict with the driveway location and the existing well, made my client suggest the present configuration –fresh and exiting.
We took the drawings for this project all the way to building permit, but then, when my client was excavating for the septic field, he found the previous owner had used the back third of the lot for a garbage dump! “My first clue was when I was setting fence posts”, my client mused, “I had to punch through a buried fiberglass dinghy”!
